1. Smelter Operation Readiness – Chief Accountant Cash Management
The key duties and responsibilities of this position are:
- Consolidated monthly cash flow projection for PMR and Smelter business project.
- Maintaining funding request to group for operational activities.
- Consolidated daily cash balance for PMR and Smelter business project.
- Maintaining good relationship with bank partner as the purpose of cash management optimization and project automation.
- Responsible on preparing cash flow and fluctuation analysis in monthly basis.
- Responsible in SIMODIS Reporting as per Central Bank Regulation.
- Responsible on daily cash movement in bank statement.
The key challenges in this position include:
- Providing report that should be readily available while still keeping accuracy standard to fulfill government and other users’ requirements by making good coordination with subordinates and other parties.
- Analyze the complex data, in order to get reliable data for making planning and evaluation to better decision-making for best interests of Management.
- Describing the fluctuation analysis in detailed transaction and summarize in readable, reliable and clear report for management’s review.
- Strong understanding of accounting and reporting standards such as US GAAP, Indo GAAP, IAS and IFRS.
- Strong understanding of FCPA and government and tax regulations related to company’s business.
- The incumbent should be able to instill the departments vision and mission into each staff in the section.
- The incumbent should be able to prevent any kind of issues incurred within his/her area that will negatively impact the company’s business.

The background, education, and work experience needed to succeed in this job are:
Minimum Education & Experience
- S-1(bachelor) in Majoring Management/Accounting. Has deep knowledge in internal control function and related regulation with Company’s business such as FCPA, government and tax regulation and has minimum at least 5-7 years experiences in finance and accounting of a multinational company or a managerial position as an internal/external auditor with a proven managerial skills and work experience in the international public accounting firm.

2. Smelter Operation Readiness – Process Control Engineer
The key duties and responsibilities of this position :
I. Automation System Design and Implementation
- Design and program control systems for equipment like furnaces, mills, and conveyors.
- Develop and configure PLCs (TIA Portal), DCS (Siemens PCS7), IMS and/or SCADA systems to monitor and control processes.
- Interfacing between DCS and MCC (DOL, VSD and SIPROTEC).
- Implement advanced sensors and IoT solutions for real-time data acquisition.
II. Process Optimization
- Identify opportunities for automation to reduce manual intervention and improve process stability.
- Implement control loops and algorithms for optimized temperature, pressure, level, flow, and analyser control.
- Reduce downtime by automating maintenance alerts and diagnostics.
III. Equipment Integration
- Ensure seamless integration of new automation systems or packages with existing equipment.
- Collaborate with equipment vendors and maintenance teams to ensure compatibility and functionality.
IV. Troubleshooting and Maintenance
- Diagnose and resolve issues in automation systems, minimizing production interruptions.
V. Data Analysis and Reporting
- Utilize automation systems to collect and analyse process data for performance improvement.
- Generate reports on production efficiency, equipment performance, and process deviations.
VI. Safety and Compliance
- Implement automated safety systems, such as emergency shutdowns and alarm management.
- Ensure automation solutions comply with industry safety standards and environmental regulations.
VII. Training and Support
- Train operators and technical staff on using automation systems effectively.
- Provide technical support for troubleshooting and system upgrades.
The background, education, and work experience needed to succeed in this job are :
- (Required) Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline or related field relevant to Process Automation such as Metallurgy, Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Physics Engineering.
- Engineer, preferably in hot-metals and hydrometallurgical/chemical processing facilities, with demonstrated experience in Siemens PCS7 or other PLC/DCS platforms.
- Adept at project management.
- Experienced in the design and implementation of safety systems that may include Fatal Risk/Critical Risk Management principles (>2 years preferable).
- Experience in operational readiness efforts leading up to commissioning and start up.
- Experience in big data management is desired though not mandatory.
- Experience in application of Agile principles.
3. Smelter Operation Readiness – Instrumentation and Controls Technician
The purpose of this position:
- Technician Instrumentation and Control is vital for maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting Instrumentation and control systems. The main purpose of this positions is to ensure the reliability, safety, and efficiency of these systems, thus supporting uninterrupted smelting operations.
The key duties and responsibilities of this position:
- Provide technical support and fault diagnostics on Instrument and Control Equipment.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, install, calibrate, and function tested Instrument and Control equipment according to manufacturer’s procedure.
- Diagnose instruments, identify faults, repair faults, and ensure the instruments operate as intended to maximize equipment availability.
- Understand the types of defects and testing anomalies that can occur, how to identify them, and what action to take.
- Ensure all backlog equipment maintenance is completed according to team planning
- Responsible for performing corrective and preventive maintenance tasks for I&C equipment timely.
- Understand their responsibilities for ensuring the care and security of tools and equipment used.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships, communicate effectively, and work inclusively to deliver work within given specifications.
- Interpret and use appropriate industry codes, standards, and regulations (NEC, ISA, etc.).
- Demonstrate effective handover of responsibility and equipment at the end of a task.
- Perform standby duties when requested to ensure the plant and systems availability remains high.
- Monitor and witness contractor performance to minimize possibilities of rework and to ensure compliance with time and quality standards required by the client and the company.
- Raising working permit as part of complying with the Freeport working management system.
- Raise work execution report and findings to the Instrument and Control Supervisor.
- Perform housekeeping after job completion.
- Comply with all GOI and company safety and environmental policies associated with this job description.
- Communicate and work with operators on system problems.
- Perform other duties as needed.
The background, education, and work experience needed to succeed in this job are:
- S1 Degree in Instrumentation or Electronic Engineering with at least 3 years working experience preferably in mining industry or Technical High School Diploma (STM) in Instrumentation or Electronics Engineering with a minimum of 8 years of experience preferably in mining industry.
