1. Customer Service Admin

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides administrative support for the Customer Services Representatives. Administrative support includes, preparing invoices and other miscellaneous forms and letters, and responding to various customer services related customer’s inquiries, which encompass 80-90% of the workday.
- Responds to customer services related inquiries, which may include calculating buyout requests, working with Treasury to correct misapplied payments, waiving late charges, answering tax and payment related questions, solving invoicing problems and making changes to contracts in the Leasing system.
- Responds to credit reference inquiries and loan balance confirmations submitted by auditing firms, which may involve using T-value to confirm interest paid and principal balances.
- Maintains various logbooks and spreadsheets for tracking customer services volume and performance.
- May be responsible for tracking asset insurance coverage and effective dates, and providing proper intra-region notifications as to the identified deficiencies.
- Participates in accomplishment of continuous improvement objectives for the department. Progress toward accomplishment of these is measured through maintenance of necessary measurements and analysis of associated data. Participates in the identification of problem areas and development of resolutions to address them.
- Understands the Harassment policy of the company and is responsible for its application in all aspects of employment.

2. Assembly Manufacturing Engineer

Caterpillar’s Manufacturing Engineer position works both independently and as part of a team to maintain and improve processes and systems used in product manufacturing.
Our Manufacturing Engineer team provide expertise in specific areas of the manufacturing process to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective manufacture of product. This is a staff position which is expected to function as a specialist with respect to a specific technical phase of the planning function and which generally falls within the major areas of releasing, assembly process, layout, work standards and manufacturing development. Work assignments may be specialized in nature but may also be broad based with coordination between other staff personnel to complete a larger project.
As the Assembly Manufacturing Engineer, You Will
- Evaluate projects to define desired results and determine logical approaches.
- Evaluates such factors as cost, personnel yearly usage, equipment, space, etc. as well as other information needed to determine requirements.
- Prepares feasibility studies for appropriateness and cost effectiveness and submits recommendations accordingly.
- Results contribute to the effective management decisions in determining the most efficient processes, methods, machinery, tools, equipment, services, and systems needed in the manufacture of product.
- Actual work assignments may be typified as follows: projection, evaluation, specification, and acquisition of new or replacement machine tools.
- Capital forecasting correlation and reporting as it relates to new product introduction, prime product capacity increases, machine replacement, and methods improvement.
- Substituting material or combining similar parts to realize savings through material prices and machining costs.
- Analyze tooling failures and evaluate tool characteristics and requirements.
- Plan factory layouts for effective utilization of space due to rearrangement, new processes, or expansion, determining the need for modern facilities.
- Responsible for assembly planning; develop and implement assembly processes in line with CPPD (Concurrent Process and Product Development) and NPI (New Product Introduction) design changes, etc.
- Fully participate as required in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), and PFMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) activities where fabrication operations are required.
- Encompasses planning, tooling, maintenance, plant engineering, releasing, machine shop, assembly, etc. wherever a specific technical assignment may be needed.
- Analyses engineering change notices, determines any part or process change, initiates and implements all changes.
- Provides analysis and recommendations needed to allow manufacturing to produce the engineering product designs. Provides effective communication and services in solving production problems or pursuing operations improvements. Simulates present and future machine lines and cells to predict line flow problems and makes recommendations for implementation.
- Conducts investigation to assist in resolving assembly issue and technical problems. Performs quality checks on equipment, process, etc. used in assembly operations.
- Adheres to established standards, policies and practices relating to quality, cost reduction, safety, ergonomics, etc. in performing assigned duties.
The Successful Candidate Must Bring
- University degree in a Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering-related degree.
- Fluent in English.
- Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment with thorough knowledge of manufacturing concepts related to assembly process.
- Minimum of 4 (four) years experiences in assembly or test process.
- In depth knowledge and experience in PFMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), Control Plan, IPV (In-Process Validation) and standard works.
- Understanding hydraulic and electrical systems (schematics diagrams).
- Proficient in computer assisted design (CAD) and 3D Drawing software, Creo is preferred.
- Good communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.

- Proficiently in torqueing process.
- Have programming skill such as C / C++ or VB is a plus.

3. EHS Engineer

When you are an EHS Engineer at Caterpillar, you responsible for administering the compliance obligation applied to OH&S and environmental, as well as define and determine appropriate actions; ensure Caterpillar Indonesia Batam is following OH&S and Environmental related legal requirements.
As the EHS Engineer, You Will Be Responsible For
- Developing and improve Occupational Health and Safety Management system based on ISO 45001-2018 and Caterpillar EHS Assurance Manual.
- Maintaining and updating the EHS Compliance obligation and calendar refer to the EHS Assurance manual, Indonesian law and international standard.
- Maintaining and Improved EHS Risk Assessments and Job Safety Analysis for all the activity on the Caterpillar Indonesia Batam Facility.
- Guide technical teams and lead investigations of occupational accidents.
- Develop programs and campaigns to develop the culture of safety in the CIB Facility.
- Manage Work Safety indicators and preventive action to ensure that the metrics achieve the defined objectives.
- Perform and conduct incident analysis and action required.
- Identify opportunities to improve the processes and work with project teams in developing solutions.
- Monitor and track implementation of EHS Management System.
- Communicate plans and strategies across the entire business unit from time to time.
- Maintain and manage equipment and processes related to each project of health and safety.
- Develops, coordinates, and / or supervises EHS compliance programs / projects and provides overall support about EHS regulatory compliance issues throughout the Batam facility.
- Conduct regularly scheduled Environmental Health & Safety audits at the Batam facility, advise facility management with regard to compliance requirements affecting the operation of the facility, and recommend appropriate actions and training necessary to maintain compliance with applicable environmental laws and regulations.
The Successful Candidate Must Bring
- Strong communication skills in Bahasa and English.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar discipline preferred with an emphasis on work safety Engineering.
- At least 3 (five) years of work-related experience in similar role.
- Safety expert certified (AK3-Umum).
- Having ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 knowledge.
- In-depth knowledge of OH &S Indonesia law, OSHA and safety regulations.
