Position:

1. Academy Transport Driver – Casual

The Person:

  • Full, clean driving license, with experience of driving young/multiple passengers
  • Experience of regular driving and also at long distances
  • Qualified to drive 17-seater, 9-seater vehicles (category D1).
  • Relevant MIDAS training or PATS training (Not essential, training will be provided)
  • Flexible to meet the demands of the schedule and can work mornings, evenings and weekends when required
  • Confident communicating with colleagues, young people and their families
  • We will complete an Enhanced DBS & complete safeguarding training before employment commences
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness for all MU fleet vehicles
  • Develop excellent working relationships with staff, players, parents, and other key Manchester United Academy stakeholders
  • Ensure all travel arrangements are completed and in line with the planned route for the day
  • Complete daily vehicle checks in line with transport regulations

Required:

  • The service is required to provide transport between schools, the training base, match venues and home respectively between the following hours typically:
  • Mon/Tues/Thurs/Fri – Flexible hours between 05:00 & 09:00, 13.00 & 23:00
  • Wed – 07:00-21:00
  • Weekends – Requirement dependant on activities.

2. Pre Academy Lead

Professional Experience:

  • Proven track record in academy football and working with pre-academy and foundation phase age groups whether coaching or recruitment
  • Strong network within grassroots football (Local Leagues, schools, community clubs, regional FAs, development centres).
  • Prior experience of leading or coordinating scouting teams at academy or pre-academy level.
  • Background in talent ID and player development pathways (knowledge of characteristics at Pre Academy, Foundation, Youth Development.
  • Demonstrable experience of collaborating with coaches, parents, and education staff to support holistic player development.

Knowledge & Understanding:

  • Deep knowledge of the local football landscape (Greater Manchester and surrounding regions).
  • Familiarity with Premier League Academy rules, EPPP (Elite Player Performance Plan) standards, and safeguarding requirements.
  • Strong grasp of youth player profiles, including technical, tactical, physical, and psycho-social attributes.
  • Understanding of diversity, inclusion, and equality challenges in football recruitment.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Excellent relationship management with local clubs, schools, and community groups.
  • Ability to spot potential early (not just current performance).
  • Strong leadership and ability to mentor scouts, ensuring alignment with academy philosophy.
  • Excellent communication skills (report writing, presenting, engaging with parents).
  • High levels of discretion, integrity, and professionalism & representing Manchester United values at all times.

Qualifications (Desirable but not always essential):

  • FA Talent ID qualifications (Level 2/3 working towards level 4).
  • FA Youth Modules / UEFA C or B coaching badges (to enhance understanding of development needs).
  • Safeguarding certification.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Deadline 23 Desember 2025

3. Information Security Engineer

Required Experience and Qualities:

  • 5+ years hands-on experience in cybersecurity roles (ideally with a background in Infrastructure)
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Sentinel: rule creation, threat hunting, workbooks, and automation
  • In-depth knowledge of network security, including principles such as zero trust and network security tooling such as Netskope
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Defender suite (for Endpoint, Identity, Cloud, etc)
  • Ideally, knowledge of AWS security stack would be including GuardDuty, CloudWatch and SecurityHub
  • Familiarity with industry frameworks: MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, CIS benchmark, PCI-DSS
  • Excellent incident responder with a passion for problem-solving
  • Strong sense of ownership, able to independently drive engineering projects
  • Always learning, keeping up-to-date with latest tools, exploits, and defence strategies
  • Able to advise on the delivery of new tooling or processes and ensure that new technologies are sufficiently secure and protected

Preferred Certifications:

  • Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert (SC-100)
  • Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate (SC-200)
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500)
  • Cybersecurity certifications, such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP
  • Deadline 23 Desember 2025

3. Food Safety Officer

The Role:

  • Support the Head of Regulatory Services and Food Safety Manager in ensuring regulatory and food safety compliance across all club departments.
  • Help maintain and update food safety systems (including HACCP) and ensure new legislation is communicated and implemented.
  • Assist with regular audits, inspections, and reporting across kitchens, bars, retail units, hospitality areas, and training facilities.
  • Provide day-to-day support to catering teams on food safety, allergens, and documentation for match days and events.
  • Help develop and implement food service policies, procedures, and training for new and existing staff.
  • Liaise with suppliers and support sustainable procurement and compliance checks.
  • Contribute to pest control management and monthly food safety reporting.
  • Support environmental and health & safety initiatives, including ISO 14001 requirements.
  • Attend HACCP meetings and ensure follow-up actions are completed.
  • Provide cover for other safety roles when required and carry out additional duties to support smooth department operations.

The Person:

  • Level 4 Food Safety qualification (or equivalent) – essential.
  • Degree or diploma in Food Inspection, Environmental Health, or equivalent – desirable.
  • Strong practical knowledge of food safety and health & safety processes within fast-paced operational environments such as hospitality or retail
  • Ability to integrate food safety into wider organisational risk management rather than treating it in isolation.
  • Excellent planning, organisational, influencing, and risk-management skills.
  • Ability to interpret analytical and microbiological results and make sound, timely decisions.
  • Experience managing cross-functional problem-solving teams.
  • Ideally, understanding of regulatory authorities, processes, and powers (e.g., Environmental Health, Trading Standards).
  • Confident using IT systems for audits, system development, and reporting.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt style for different audiences.
  • Self-motivated, highly organised, and detail-focused.
  • Full driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
  • Deadline 5 Januari 2026
