About the job Engineer Civil Geotech Highland #1:
- Provide geotechnical services and supports to ensure PTFI sustainable safe operations as well as communities in highland area associated with geotechnical risk mitigation include infrastructure damage prevention, project construction, and remediation recommendation.
The key duties and responsibility of this position are:
- To do field geotechnical inspection or investigation in non-mining area include main supply road, townsite, and mill area to propose geotechnical recommendations.
- To do geotechnical modelling include slope stability, rockfall, debris flow analysis, etc.
- Supporting upper level for client requirement as well as clients meeting to implement developing EWS program.
- Develop and maintain geotechnical risk and hazard map at Highland area.
- Maintain and improve section safety performance by enforcing and following company standards to meet PT Freeport Indonesia safety and Environmental programs standards to meet PT Freeport Indonesia safety and Environmental programs

About the job Engineer, Underground Geotech DOZ-DMLZ #3B:
- Provide geotechnical recommendation and/or services to the PTFI U/G Mines by directing the design, support and monitoring of geotechnical aspects of U/G Mine facilities and operations to ensure safe and efficient operation of U/G Mines.
The key duties and responsibilities of this position are:
- Meet the PTFI Safety and Environmental Programs and standards.
- Inspect and analyze ground condition for any new development heading to ensure the recommended support design fit with the actual ground condition.
- Evaluate and modify ground support design for new development areas using GSST tools to ensure the lifetime stability of the opening.
- Analyze ground movement and damage progress as impact of induce stress or mining activity (blasting, caving, production, etc) to provide appropriate action plans, in order to ensure safety of the miners and also to achieve production target.
- Analyze seismic monitoring data to indicate ground response and seismic related hazards to ensure the safety of underground facilities, access and production areas.
- Inspect and monitor ground condition of DMLZ mine fix facilities (e.g. ore pass, loading point, crusher, vent raise, access, office and any mass excavation) and provide warning of unsafe condition and short/long term mitigation plan.
- Monitor displacement by conducting convergence measurement using geotechnical devices (e.g. tape or scanner) on any drift and working areas, particularly for complex and high-risk areas, to ensure safe and efficient operation of mine. Recommend re-support or rehabilitation as required.
- Conduct cave monitoring program such as TDR and open hole measurement and construction of cave shape by combining all monitoring data (including seismic, cave tracker and smart marker) to interpret cave propagation and material movement.
- Update database system for geotechnical data/information and reports/recommendation so the database is accessible and preservable.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly report for reviewing from senior engineers.
- Develop his skills and knowledge to go along with new technology and methods to improve the service to clients and cope with new project and case study in block cave mining.

- Communication Skills: Good communication skills both written and verbal form
- Computer Skills/SAP/Onestream: Candidate for the position must have great computer skills in SAP system, OneStream system, demonstrate high proficiency in the use of MS Office and consolidation/reporting tools.

The purpose of this position:
- Develop, implement, maintain, and monitor legal and other requirement compliance program, including legal compliance interpretation, communication, and internal audit to ensure that PTFI complies with law and regulation as required by government bodies and other regulation agencies.
The key duties and responsibilities of this position:
- Identifying and mapping regulations, standards, and other legal products, both national (Government of the Republic of Indonesia) and applicable international regulations, standards, and other legal products as followed by FCX, in the context of Mining Safety aspects, which must be met by PTFI.
- Develop and implement methods of interpreting regulations, standards, and other legal products to become material/information that is ready to be presented to relevant parties both in the internal OH&S Division and at the PTFI level.
- Communicating the interpretation results of regulations, standards, and other legal products to relevant parties both internally in the OH&S Division and at the PTFI level.
- Provide guidance and/or opinion of the most appropriate and efficient form/method for implementing legal provisions in terms of KP aspects that must be met by PTFI.
- Implement an audit system that capable of evaluating PTFI’s compliance in the application of the legal provisions of the KP aspects that must be met according to applicable law.
- Develop and implement methods to collect, analyze, and follow up the feedback from relevant parties related to the implementation of law and regulation.
- Develop a data management system (DMS) to monitor legal reference mapping, implementation, and evaluation of compliance so that it is available to relevant parties, both internal to PTFI and external parties outside PTFI (such as the Government of the Republic of Indonesia or other regulation agencies).
- Participate proactively in any communication forum/media to take advantage to gain updated information regarding law and regulation.
